And some Scarlet Twilight news!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Going to start being more consistent with my posts here, but I’ll keep them short! Didn’t have any FCBD books in stores (but should 2025!), but wanted to get in on all the fun.

To that end, I’m sharing a 10 page pitch I put together in 2019. Never landed on a good title, but it was a time travel buddy action story set in the late 60s! In the end, while I was excited about the setting, story and characters, I didn’t think it had a strong enough genre identity to appeal to comic shops, or maybe even crowdfunding audiences. Still, I think it was a fun concept- and hope you enjoy it!

Fun note- it also includes a semi-crossover with my sci fi book, August- who in this corner of the Spider-Verse is a long running fictional sci fi franchise in the tradition of Flash Gordon! There’s another cameo from someone who, well, for legal purposes I was hoping could be treated as a historical figure. Wasn’t sure of the legalities there, which was another version I shelved it. But who knows- if WildCATs could put Dan Quayle in their first arc, I don’t see how this would have been out of bounds.
